We can use our hands to assess the risk with the RiskCheck.
The thumb of the right hand is used to show the range for estimating the release probabilities of an avalanche. The thumb of the left hand expresses the same for the consequences. If the average of both thumbs is pointing downwards, it is recommended to choose an alternative. If the average is horizontal, a more detailed assessment and effective measures are necessary.
